  • Arca Continental in the acquisition of the AdeS business from Unilever, along with The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Femsa and other bottlers of the Coca-Cola System, and the formation of a cost-based joint venture to operate the AdeS production facilities in Argentina (2017).
  • Pampa Energía in the acquisition of Petrobras Participaciones S.L., a Spanish company holder of 67,19% of the capital stock and votes of Petrobras Argentina, an argentine company with a strong presence in the oil and gas exploitation and production, gas distribution and energy generation, oil refinery and petrochemical markets, for US$897 million (2016) This transaction was the largest M&A deal in Argentina in 2016, involved the acquisition of assets in Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia and was awarded as M&A Deal of the Year 2016 by both LatinFinance and Latin Lawyer magazines.
  • Arca Continental in its acquisition of the U.S. Southwest Coca-Cola Bottling Business Unit and the creation of a joint venture with The Coca-Cola Company to operate all of Arca Continental’s beverage businesses, in a transaction worth US$2.7Bn (2016)
  • Arca Continental in its recent corporate restructuring in order to (i) wholly own all of the capital stock and voting rights in, and (indirectly) all of the assets of, each of its South American joint ventures doing business in Argentina and Ecuador, and (ii) roll-up the interests of its joint venture partners in the South American joint ventures into publicly traded shares in the capital stock of Arca Continental (2016)

  • Arca Continental, the second-largest Coca-Cola bottler in Latin America and one of the largest in the  world, in its acquisition of a controlling stake in Corporación Lindley (the sole Coca-Cola bottler in Peru) for US$910 million (including a non-compete fee), and its capital increase and acquisition by the Lindley family of Arca Continental newly issued shares worth US$400 million (2016-2015)
  • Arca Continental and The Coca-Cola Company in their joint acquisition of a controlling interest in Holding Tonicorp S.A., the Ecuadorian parent company of Plásticos Ecuatorianos S.A. (one of the country’s main producers of plastic packaging), Industrias Lácteas Toni S.A. (a dairy company) and Distribuidora Importadora DIPOR S.A. (a major distribution network company), and the launching of a tender offer addressed to minority shareholders, in a transaction worth c. US$400 million (2014-2013)
  • Southern Cross Group in its US$220 million investment in Ultrapetrol (Bahamas) Ltd., a marine industrial transportation company, pursuant to which the fund acquired c. 78.38% of the common shares of the company (2012)
  • Arca Continentalin its acquisition of Industrias Alimenticias Ecuatorianas S.A., one of Ecuador's largest snack food companies (2012)
  • Southern Cross Group in its acquisition of a controlling stake in Estrella International Energy Services Ltd., a drilling and work-over company operating in multiple jurisdictions in Latin America (2012)
  • Embotelladoras Arca de Argentina in the merger of its Coca-Cola beverages production with Ecuador Bottling Company Suc. Ecuador, the Coca-Cola bottling company in Ecuador (2012)
  • Investment fund Inverlat in a production and distribution agreement of sport clothing Canterbury in Uruguay (2012)
  • Investment fund Inverlat in the acquisition of fast-food business Kentucky Fried Chicken and China Wok in Chile, through the acquisition of the franchisees Chilean companies (2011)
